Bass Trombonist Jordan Strominger is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy and is a resident of Jupiter, FL. Strominger has performed across the U.S., including Michigan, Florida, New York, Atlanta, Tennessee, Indiana and North Carolina. He is currently continuing his musical endeavors at The Juilliard School pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Bass Trombone Performance.
Jordan has performed with various professional groups, such as The Orchid City Brass, The Juilliard Orchestra and Columbia University Orchestra. In high school, he was given the opportunity to attend Interlochen Arts camp, Honor Band of America, National Youth Wind Ensemble and Eastern Music Festival.
Jordan was born in Englewood, New Jersey but was raised in Florida, where he began his musical career at the age of 7 through the piano. During his time, he has studied with
Jim Estes, Thomas Riccobono, Blair Bollinger, Christopher Davis, James Kent, Mark Lusk and Gerry Pagano.
