Zach Regin is a horn player from Bristol, Virginia and is currently living in Denver, CO. He is a second-year undergrad studying with David Byrd-Marrow at the Lamont School of Music. He comes from a musical family and began studying classical music from a young age.
He previously studied with Dr. Olivier Huesbscher and Gabriel Kovach of the Phoenix Symphony.

Zach is an alumni of the Brevard Music Center, Curtis Summerfest, Philadelphia International Music Festival, and Boston University Tanglewood Institute. He was selected as a winner in Virginia for MTNA competition and finalist for the Southeast region. He was previously chosen to participate in the 2020 National Honor Orchestra and is a previous member of the Roanoke Symphony Youth Orchestra in Roanoke, VA and the Symphony of the Mountains Youth Orchestra in Kingsport, TN.

Zach enjoys finding opportunities outside of Lamont. He has been a college fellow with the Denver Young Artists Orchestra for 2 seasons, and he is in his second year playing with a student formed and led band, BetterWeather.
