I began violin at the age of five, studying with Sheri Noble. At the age of eight I began participating in the California Music Educators Association, through which I was rewarded a command performance as a rating at both local and state levels for a total of nine consecutive times. At the age of twelve I began studying with Michael Eby, who guided me as I competed in two local concerto competitions, through which I was rewarded the opportunity to solo with both respective orchestras. After being accepted into Idyllwild Arts Academy, I began studying with Dr. Todor Pelev, and participated in the academy orchestra and chamber groups with leadership positions.
