The King
Jamily Lee, 17, is a junior at The King's Academy. She has been playing the violin for over a decade in orchestras. She currently plays in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra.
Jamily has also competed in several competitions. Some include first place in the American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition (2020), GSYO Senior Symphony concerto competition winner (2021), first place in the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition (2022), and Gold Medalist in U.S. Open Music Competition (2023). Besides competitions, she has played for notable violinists such as Richard Lin, Cho-Liang Lin, Frank Huang, and Midori herself. Last summer, Jamily joined the Sounding Point Academy at The Colburn School, as well as the Taipei Music Academy and Festival (TMAF) directed by Cho-Liang Lin.
As of now, Jamily will continue to play in SFSYO and study under David Chernyavsky. She plans to pursue violin performance in college and continue for many years to come!
