Chase Domke is from Dallas, Texas, and is currently working on his 1st year of a Master’s degree in Trumpet Performance at Michigan State with Justin Emerich and Heather Zweifel, as well as assisting him in the trumpet studio as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Prior to his studies at Michigan State, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Trumpet Performance at The Peabody Conservatory with the Philadelphia Orchestra’s Tony Prisk. He has performed with the Lansing Symphony, East Texas Symphony, the US Army Field Band Brass Quintet, the Baltimore Choral Arts Society, the Georgetown Chorale, members of the Dallas Symphony, and the Baltimore Symphony. He has also performed with the Michigan State and Peabody Symphony, Opera, Chamber, and Studio Orchestras, as well as the Wind and Brass Ensemble. He is also a member of the Michigan State Trumpet Ensemble that has attended multiple competitions at the national level since he joined. He has been a fellow at the National Music Festival, and is an active freelancer and teacher in the Michigan and Texas regions.
