Mark Doerr is an up and coming oboist from Frisco, Texas, but currently resides in Ann Arbor Michigan. He received his Bachelors degree in Oboe Performance from the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied under Dr. Andrew Parker. Mark is currently working towards a double Masters degree in Chamber Music and Oboe Performance at the University of Michigan where he studies under Dr. Nancy Ambrose King. Mark also studied Voice under Stephen Brennfleck from 2018-2022. He has attended multiple summer music festivals including, Hidden Valley with Elaine Douvas, Mostly Modern Music Festival with Keve Wilson and Interlochen intensive with Linda Strommen. While working towards his degrees Mark has also taught at multiple Middle schools and High Schools.
