Sarah Lee currently is a student at the University of New Mexico studying violin performance under Carmelo de los Santos. She has been playing since the age of 5 and has studied with Guillermo Figueroa, Ruxandra Marquardt, and Nicolle Maniaci. In high school, she participated in numerous festivals including Honor Orchestra, New Mexico Allstate Festival, and the Brevard Summer Institute. She has also played as a substitute violinist with the Sante Fe Symphony, New Mexico Philharmonic, and Sante Fe Opera. Most recently, she also played in the Festival Ballet Albuquerque production of Nutcracker. When she was 17, she also performed the first movement of Mozart's 4th Violin Concerto as a soloist with the New Mexico Philharmonic.
