Started playing bass in 6th grade. Made it into my high school region Symphony Orchestra 4 years, made the TMEA Philharmonic Orchestra sophomore year, and the TMEA Symphony Junior and Senior year. Was a member of the National Youth Orchestra 2 the summer after junior year, and of the National Youth Orchestra after senior year. Also received the Outstanding Musicianship award from Texas State Solo and Ensemble during Junior year of high school, in May 2021. Studied with Omar Estrella, a Roundtop alum from sophomore to senior year of high school, and now studies with Dallas Symphony Orchestra bassist Brian Perry at SMU.
