I have been playing the violin since I was 3, growing up I did the Suzuki Method and then attended the Ithaca College pre-college program. I did my undergraduate in Violin Performance at Florida State University where I studied with Dr. Shannon Thomas. While in Florida, I held leadership roles in the school orchestra, was a substitute violinist in regional orchestras such as the Tallahassee Symphony, the Valdosta Symphony, and Sinfonia Gulf Coast. I was a semi-finalist in the school concerto competition, and I won the MTNA Young Artist's Competition in the state of Florida. I am now doing my Masters in Violin Performance at Boston University where I study with Bayla Keyes. I just recently held the Concertmaster position of the Boston University Symphony Orchestra, and have held other various leadership roles there throughout this degree. I have also recently played in masterclasses for Soovin Kim and Philip Setzer of the Emerson Quartet.
