A native of Texas, Wilson made appearances in numerous ensembles around the state and studied with Gary Hardie of Baylor University. As a high school student, Wilson performed the first movement of Shostakovich's first cello concerto with the Waco Youth Symphony Orchestra, and performed alongside the Texas Music Educators Association State Symphony orchestra, serving as principal in 2018.
An avid chamber musician, Wilson has attended Bowdoin International Music Festival, Orford Musique Academy, and worked under the Apple Hill and Dalí String Quartets as a member of their respective chamber fellowship programs.
Wilson currently attends the Oberlin conservatory under the tutelage of Dmitry Kouzov, and previously worked with Amir Eldan.
