As a violin performance major and music scholarship recipient at Liberty University, I currently serve as the orchestra concertmaster and Honors Chamber Quartet first violinist while studying with Yevgeniy Dovgalyuk. Previous teachers include Lauren Deutsch, Shuwei Liu, Juyi Peng, and Helen Kim.
My orchestra achievements include being a first violinist in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra (2018-21), concertmaster of the Oakland Symphony Youth orchestra (2015-18), and co-concertmaster of both the KAMSA Youth Orchestra (2016-18, 20) and the CODA All-State String Orchestra (2018).
Awards include winning 1st place at the Oakland Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition (solo performance prize), the Livermore-Amador Symphony Competition (solo performance and cash prize), and the Music in the Vineyards Competition (cash prize). Other awards include placing 2nd at both the American Protégé International and US Open Competitions. Additionally, I was awarded a merit scholarship to attend the Montecito International Music Festival. Other chamber programs include Young Chamber Musicians and the Crowden Chamber Music Workshop.
