Fedor Malykhin made his first solo debut with the Voronezh State Philharmonic. Since then, he has appeared with the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Tolyatti Symphony Orchestra and Gnessins Symphony Orchestra.
Fedor was named the First Prize winner of the Zagir Ismagilov, Ohrid Pearls and Rizzardo Bino International Competitions. He serves on the Saint Petersburg Music House roster and has engaged in festivals, performing for Boris Kushnir and Alexander Shustin. Other masterclass performances include Paul Neubauer, Ilya Kaler, Pavel Vernikov, Alexey Bruni, and Michael Kugel.
Fedor’s orchestral experience includes performing with the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra and Meadows Symphony Orchestra. He previously held positions with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Moscow Residence Orchestra, and Concertato Chamber Orchestra.
He studied at the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music and Conservatorio di Parma Arrigo Boito and is currently pursuing a degree at the Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts. His principal teachers include Emmanuel Borok, Alexander Sitkovetsky, Aaron Boyd, Pierre Lapointe, Alexander Dogadaev and Alexey Koshvanets.
