Forrest Howell is pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Michigan where he has worked with John Ellis, Logan Skelton, and Matthew Bengtson.

His most recent activities include selection for the 2020 Gilmore Festival Fellowship, a featured solo recital in the Temple Square Performance Series in Salt Lake City, UT, and participation in Trinity-Laban Conservatoire's CoLab program in London.

As an experienced chamber musician, Forrest has performed extensively across the US with the Timpanogos Trio, winner of the MTNA National Chamber Music Competition. He has also been fortunate to collaborate in performance with musicians such as Lea Salonga, Nancy Ambrose King, and James Dunham.
