Spring Giving Day
Spring Giving Day at Festival Hill
Today, from midnight to midnight, Round Top Festival Institute has launched its annual spring fundraising challenge. The goal of the 24-hour online Spring Giving Day Campaign is to raise $18,000 to help fund the 2022 Scholarship Program. With 87 students coming this summer, we have many scholarships to provide. With the help of our friends, we can do this.
Why is the Spring Giving Day Campaign important?
On June 5, 2022, eighty-seven of the most advanced music students will arrive at Round Top Festival Institute for six weeks of study during the Round Top Music Festival. They will form the Texas Festival Orchestra and perform world-class concerts at 7:30 pm each Saturday--the classical music concerts you have come to enjoy each summer.
The young music artists come from conservatories and music schools all over the world and are selected through a rigorous audition process. The students will be mentored by 42 outstanding faculty and will work with six renowned conductors on an alternating schedule during the six weeks. To allow student participation based on talent and merit alone, each student is awarded a tuition scholarship of $6,000 to help alleviate financial burden.

Student scholarships are at the core of our educational mission and support the Institute through the six weeks of private lessons, chamber music, orchestra studies and performance opportunities, resulting in the public concerts that many of you experience and enjoy throughout the summer season.

Today, every donor will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of three great prizes!
