The Round Top Theatre Forum has been exploring connections between theater and other art forms for the past 24 years. In 2018, we added an educational component to the festival, to give middle and high school students a unique opportunity to work with renowned professionals in their art form. This year’s Theatre Forum will focus on theater and the voice. Our faculty and guest faculty are excited to work with a talented group of students on Saturday, November 18th. The workshop will culminate in a public presentation on the main stage on November 19th at 10am. Additionally, the students will attend a performance of the acclaimed soprano Julia Fox, and renowned voice-over actor and puppeteer Paul Liberti. Our faculty and guest faculty will work with the students as a group and individually. Students will be staying in dorm rooms on the beautiful grounds of the Round Top Festival Institute. Meals will be provided, with consideration of dietary restrictions. Theatre and Guest Faculty: BJ Dodge (Theater- CalArts) Student Tuition for workshop, dorm rooms, meals, performance, and event admission: $400. Take full advantage of the picturesque Festival Hill Campus. The three-day Theatre Forum offers Poems, puns and other surprises led by Ann Thompson, appetizing meals in the Victorian-style Menke House dining hall, as well as an open-air lunch in the lush Menke gardens on Saturday. Though casual dress is the norm for events, formal dress is encouraged for the Saturday evening reception in the Menke House Parlours followed by a gourmet dinner in the dining hall. Overnight accommodations are available. Complimentary breakfast is included. Please call the office or email reservations@festivalhill.org to check availability and make reservations.
