Houston Masterworks Chorus The Houston Masterworks Chorus is a choral community celebrating and connecting people through the power of music. The unwavering dedication of their leaders and members has ensured their mission to educate, inspire and uplift. Performing diverse masterworks, showcasing new compositions and talent, moving people out of their ordinary...seeking excellence is their constant, motivating force. Appointed in 2019, Dr. Paulo Gomes serves as Artistic Director. Christmas with Masterworks, Rejoice! at Festival Hill Institute is part of our annual eclectic celebration that includes joyful and distinctive choral masterwork such as Vivaldi's Gloria. The audience eagerly shares holiday memories as the chorus weaves carols and holiday favorites throughout, ending in a candlelit sing-along of Silent Night. We will partnership with a cappella chorus, Space City Sound. Space City Sound strives to spread excellence in musical performance. Adult $30. Student $10. Concert tickets are held at will call on the West side of the Concert Hall. If available, tickets will be sold at the door. Doors open 1 hour prior to concert. Overnight accommodations are available on campus for this concert weekend.
