    Experience the music of Roberto Hidalgo and Marc Peloquin in concert.

Roberto Hidalgo and Marc Peloquin perform as the Split Second Piano Duo. Their audience keeps coming back for more of their remarkable synchronous talent. This year's program ranges from classical to contemporary: Brahms' Variations on a Theme by Haydn to the premiere of To You for 2 pianos by Steven Burke.

About the Artists...

     Renowned pianist and pedagogue, Mexican-born pianist Roberto Hidalgo has nourished an important career in Mexico and New York City, where he has lived for three decades. Mr. Hidalgo holds degrees from Mannes College of Music (BM, MM) and the Manhattan School of Music (DMA). He teaches at the Bloomingdale School of Music.

     A native of Rhode Island, Marc Peloquin received his Doctor of Musical Arts from the Manhattan School of Music with additional studies at Boston University, the New England Conservatory and Tanglewood. He is visiting lecturer at the New School University, a Resident Teaching Artist at the Bloomingdale School of Music and resides in New York City.

Adult $25. Student $10. General seating. Concert tickets will be held at will call on the West side of the concert hall. Doors open 1 hour prior to the concert. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Lunch will be available prior to the concert at 12:45 PM in the Menke House Dining Hall, by reservation only. Purchase meals here. The buffet-style pre-concert meal has become a favorite among concertgoers. Chef's Choice Menu includes Roast Beef Au Jus, Old Fashioned Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Salad Bar, Bread, Peach Cobbler, Iced Tea, Coffee and Water.
