Quaternaglia Guitar Quartet returns to the Festival Concert Hall stage to perform selections from their wide repertoire. In celebration of QGQ's 25th anniversary, pianist James Dick, the Institute's Founder and Artistic Director, will join the ensemble to perform the premiere of a Quintet with Piano by Sergio Molina.

Quaternaglia Guitar Quartet (QGQ) is acclaimed as one of the world's top guitar ensembles. Composed of Brazilian guitarists Chrystian Dozza, Fabio Ramazzina, Thiago Abdalla, and Sidney Molina, QGQ is recognized for its artistic excellence and for its significant contributions to the expansion of guitar quartet repertoire.

The quartet has performed in fifteen American states including Texas, in countries like Portugal, Spain, Australia, Cuba, Uruguay, and Argentina, and in seventeen Brazilian states. Quaternaglia has also conducted Master Classes and lectures at various institutions including Yale University, the Jacobs School of Music (Indiana University at Bloomington), and the Coimbra Conservatory.

Besides recording twenty-five original Brazilian pieces, Quaternaglia is especially well-known for its interpretations of Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos and Cuban-born Leo Brouwer, as well as for renditions of Renaissance and Spanish music.

Adult $30. Student $10. General seating. Concert tickets will be held at the will call table on the West side of the concert hall. Doors open 1 hour prior to the concert. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Lunch will be available prior to the concert at 12:45 PM in the Menke House Dining Hall, by reservation only. Purchase meals here when you purchase your concert tickets. The buffet-style pre-concert meal has become a favorite among concertgoers. Menu includes Old Fashioned Roast Beef Au Jus, Au Gratin Potatoes, Buttered Green Beans, Salad Bar, Sweet Yeast Rolls, Homemade Carrot Raisin Cake, iced tea and coffee.
