News from Brett Deubner

(Brett is on our 2012 faculty…)

Dear Alain,
I just wanted to let you know that this month I am featured in the fall edition of the American Viola Society magazine.  The four page article goes into detail about my concert career and commitment to new music for the viola.  Just last weekend I performed the Walton concerto in Los Angeles and here is the link to the first movt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlkA46C7984.  While I was there last week I also gave master classes at the Colburn School and the L.A. County High School for the Arts.  This week I have a recital and master class in Delaware and next week some baroque concerts with Lionel Party, then the following week Im off to Australia to premiere a new concerto in Melbourne.
