Nathan Peebles is an active freelance musician in the Northeast Ohio region and regularly substitutes with the symphonies of Akron and Canton. His other orchestral experiences include engagements with the Firelands Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Opera Theater, and CityMusic Cleveland Chamber Orchestra, as well as performing in the summer festival orchestras of Aspen, Napa Valley, and Kent/Blossom.

A native of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Nathan Peebles began playing the horn at age 11 and subsequently began private lessons at age 16, studying with Meghan Guegold, principal horn of the Akron and Canton Symphonies. Mr. Peebles graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Richard King, fourth horn and former principal horn of the Cleveland Orchestra. Beginning in the fall, Mr. Peebles will pursue his master’s degree at the Yale School of Music, studying with William Purvis.
