Cort Roberts has performed around the globe. In 2016, he was appointed Principal Horn of La Orquesta Filarmonica de Sonora, in Mexico. Also in 2016, he performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the CU Boulder’s inaugural showcase in the venue. Recently, he had the pleasure of performing onstage with Yo-Yo Ma and the New World Symphony.

In pursuit of his Master’s degree at the Juilliard School, he studies privately with Julie Landsman and works closely with many renowned faculty including Michelle Baker, the American Brass Quintet, and Alan Gilbert.

Cort completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder under the tutelage of Michael Thornton. During this time, he performed regularly with the Colorado Symphony. Cort has also played with the Juilliard Orchestra, the New World Symphony, and the Colorado College summer music festival orchestra.

In addition to his music studies, Cort has completed a minor in Business and in Leadership Studies. He has worked in the profit and non-profit sectors focusing on finance and event coordinating. He intends to utilize these unique skills to make an impact on the longevity of music and the arts in our culture.
