YiQiao Li from Harbin, China. She began formal piano studies at age four. From 2003 to 2009, Li began her professional musical training at the Affiliated Middle School of China Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She received Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2014. studied with Robert Shannon, and Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory of Music in 2016. She is currently pursuing Doctor of Musical Arts degree under Vladimir Valjarevic at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.

During 2000-2003, Li has received top prizes in many national competitions in China. In 2007, she had been selected to participate the Beijing International Piano Festival and studied with Pavlina Dokovska. Li was a winner of the 2013-2014 Oberlin Senior Concerto Competition; WCLV Classical Music Channel in Cleveland broadcasted the performance. In 2017, Li was chosen as one of the selected winners of the NEC Piano Department Honor's Competition and performed at the Jordan Hall. Li was also chosen by NEC to perform in the Chamber Music Gala in 2016 and the NEC Piano Department series concerts in 2014-2017.
