Andres Bravo was born in La Paz Bolivia in May 28th of 1994. He recently completed his Bachelors in Music performance from Sam Houston State University.At the age of fourteen, Andres entered to the National Symphony of Bolivia as a student trainee, and played there until 2011. During the years of 2009 through 2016 he has participated with several renowned Summer Music institutes such as: Interlochen, Eastern Music Festival, Texas Music Festival, Round top Festival Hill, and Bolivia Clasica. Andres studied at Sam Houston State University from 2012 to 2016, under the mentoring of Dr. Javier Pinell, and Dr. Naomi Gjevre. He was selected to the position of concertmaster of the SHSU Symphony Orchestra and CEMRAP ( Center of Early Music Research and Performance) throughout his years at Sam Houston State University. He was also finalist and semi finalist of the SHSU concerto competition. Andres is currently a scholarship recipient of graduate Performance Diploma at Southern Methodist University, where he studies with the renowned Maestro Emanuel Borok.
