Holly Workman, originally from Mountville, Pennsylvania, began studying the violin at the age of four. While in high school, she studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Music where she completed their Certificate Program. Holly has participated in and won awards from several music competitions, most recently she was a finalist at the Eastern CT Symphony concerto competition. In 2012, she performed a solo in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall after being awarded second place in an international competition. Holly has attended a number of music festivals in the United States, Italy, France, and Germany. Holly is a senior at the Eastman School of Music where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance, studying with Professor Renée Jolles. At Eastman, Holly is a recipient of several merit scholarships and frequently performs with Eastman Philharmonia, Musica Nova, and Ossia.
