Violinist Holly Workman is an active performer of both traditional and contemporary classical music. She recently graduated with High Distinction from the Eastman School of Music with her Bachelor of Music in Applied Music (violin) and induction into the Pi Kappa Lambda honor society. Holly studies with Professor Renée Jolles and will be pursuing her Master of Music in Violin Performance and Literature at Eastman in the fall.

Holly is a member of Musica Nova, directed by Brad Lubman, where she has worked with current and former members of the JACK Quartet and Ensemble signal, as well as composers Reich, Lachenmann, and Haas. Holly performs regularly with the Eastman Philharmonia, under Neil Varon, which recently performed with Renée Fleming in Alice Tully Hall. Holly is a member of the Ossia Ensemble and was recently concertmaster for Feldman’s String Quartet and Orchestra featuring the JACK Quartet. In addition to school ensembles, Holly is a violinist and executive board member of ENSEMBLE id, a group dedicated to performing both traditional and contemporary music. Holly has also recently performed in master classes for Irvine Arditti, Mieko Kanno, the Brentano Quartet, the Jupiter Quartet, the Shanghai Quartet, and others.
