Bradley Taylor began studying cello at the age of 11. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he is studying with the principal cellist of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Andy Smith. Previous to studying with Andy Smith he studied with another member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Emily Leavitt. Bradley has held a fellowship at Marrowstone Music Festival where he served as principal cellist. He has also served as principal cellist of the UNLV Symphony. Bradley placed 2nd in the Southwest Regional MTNA Young Artist Competition, and Tucson Cello Congress Competition. Bradley has taken part in masterclasses taught by artists such as Zuill Bailey, Walter Gray, John Koen, Brandon Vamos, Andrew Schulman, Alan Rafferty, John Michel, Bongshin Ko, Stephen Balderston and Matthew Zalkind.
