Wei-Ting graduated from the Music School Program of Municipal Yen-Chen Elementary School in 2005 and given a recital in the hometown Performance Center. She then entered the Music School Program of Municipal Sin-Sing Middle School. From 2005 to 2009, Wei-Ting attended several music festivals in the USA, including Summit Music Festival in New York, FYO of NEC and earned the 1st Prize of Chairman of City Council Cello Competition in Taiwan. At age 15, she was admitted to Taiwan’s National Artistic University. She moved to California and studied with Prof. Banghsin Ko, there she won the 1st prize of Music Arts of Orange County Annual Audition and performed at Nixon Library and accepted by Pacific Youth Symphony Orchestra in Orange County in 2009. In 2010, she performed at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the International Summer Festival and studied with Prof. Igor Gavryshv. In 2015, she earned Bachelor of Music degree in Cello Performance from the Indiana University, studying with Prof. Emilio Colon. She is currently pursuing her Master of Music degree in Cello Performance at University of Miami: Frost School of Music, continue perusing her music career with Prof. Ross Harbaugh.
