Walter Callum Robbins-Gennerich, a Tucson native, began playing piano at age four, but at age seven began learning violin out of jealousy of his younger brother. After graduating from University High School, a school known for its academic rigor and arts programs, Callum began studying violin at the University of Arizona.

Callum’s true passion is performing symphony orchestra repertoire. At the University of Arizona, Callum studied with Tucson Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Lauren Roth for two years, and is currently finishing his degree under the renowned pedagogue and member of the Afiara Quartet Timothy Kantor. He also studied with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's Qing Li at Eastern Music Festival.
