Luca Esposito is currently a junior at the Crane School of Music, where he is pursuing his bachelors degree in music performance and music business. Luca has performed with various ensembles at Crane including the Crane Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. He has been featured as a xylophone soloist 3 times with the Crane Percussion Ensemble. He has also performed various times with the Orchestra of Northern New York. At Crane, Luca performed in master classes for special guest artists including Michael Burritt, Bob Becker, Alan Otte, Rob Bridge, and Dr. Thomas Marceau. This past spring, Luca had the opportunity to perform with Nexus Percussion Ensemble at Crane. He currently studies with Jim Petercsak, Catherine Meunier, Gary Hodges, and Sean Ritenauer of the New York Philharmonic. He has also taken a few supplemental lessons with Rob Knopper of the Metropolitan Opera and Jeffrey Irving, a Juilliard graduate.
