Antonia Chandler is a Master of Music candidate at the Yale School of Music, studying horn performance with William Purvis. Originally from Seattle Washington, Antonia received a Bachelor of Music from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where she studied with Roland Pandolfi. Antonia has performed as a soloist on the Danenberg Honors Recital at Oberlin, the Oberlin Commencement recital, and with the Oberlin Sinfonietta. She has toured twice with the Oberlin Orchestra and Oberlin Contemporary Music Ensemble, performing in Carnegie Hall, the DiMenna Center, and Chicago Symphony Center. Antonia has attended music festivals including Eastern Music Festival, SoundSCAPE Composition and Performance Exchange, and FAVA Opera Orchestra in France. In previous summers she worked for the College Light Opera Company and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. In addition to studying horn, Antonia enjoys an active singing career, performing with Yale’s Schola Cantorum and working at Christ Church in New Haven.
