Yen-Chun, Wang (Angela Wang) from Taiwan and has studied with Ting-Yu Wu, Chin-Horng Nanette Chen, now with Paul Biss in New England Conservatory. Yen-Chun has trained intensely and reaped the rewards: She won the first prize at National Student Violin Competition of Taiwan and first prize at Taiwan Music Competition in 2012. She was also awarded the first prize of Rong-Shing Cultural Foundation International Music Competition in 2014 and first prize of Seidof & Sons International Music Cup Competition in 2015. Yen-Chun has also attended master classes. She went to Euro Music Festival in Halle, Germany in 2013, International Music Masterclass in Qingdao, China (Shandong) in 2014. In 2016’s Salut Taiwan International Music Festival, Yen-Chun studied with Vesselin Paraschkevov. Yen-Chun has not only accomplished many professional achievements, but also used music to help people. She has performed in Hsinchu special education schools, Hsinchu juvenile prison, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Susan S. Bailis Assisted Living.
