Arriving on Sunday June 1, they will start rehearsing on Monday June 2 an all-Russian music program conducted by Pascal Verrot and featuring James Dick as the soloist in the Sergei Prokofiev's concerto No. 3 in C. As part of the training, five more symphony programs (on Saturday evenings) will follow conducted by Christoph Campestrini (Round Top debut), Gregory Vajda, Charles Olivieri-Munroe, Jean-Marie Zeitouni (Round Top debut), Grant Llewellyn, the annual 'Patriotic Concert' conducted by Lawrence Isaacson (on Sunday June 29) and an "American Music Salute" conducted by Kenneth Woods on Friday July 4.
The distinguished soloists include pianist Eteri Andjaparidze, violinists Kevork Mardirossian and Gregory Fulkerson, violist Yuval Gotlibovich and saxophonist Timothy McAllister. Three additional Chamber Orchestra programs will be featured on Friday evenings conducted by Christoph Campestrini, Emilio Colon and Jean-Marie Zeitouni. The Annual Young Persons' Concert on Tuesday June 17 will be conducted by Emilio Colon.
