Giving Tuesday at Festival Hill November 27
Giving Tuesday at Festival Hill
The Giving Tuesday at Festival Hill campaign was a huge success thanks to our donors. We surpassed our goal of $30,000 and raised $36,220 – enough to fund 6 scholarships.
Why is the Giving Tuesday Campaign important?
Each summer, 90 advanced classical music students come to Round Top Festival Institute to work with faculty and conductors in a six-week program to study and improve their performance skills. Students come from conservatories and music schools all over the world and are selected through a rigorous audition process. To allow student participation based on talent and merit alone, each student is awarded a tuition scholarship of $6,000 to help alleviate financial burden.
Here's what your donation to Round Top Festival Institute helps accomplish:
Student scholarships are at the core of our educational mission and support the Institute through the six weeks of private lessons, chamber music, orchestral studies and performance opportunities, resulting in the public concerts that many of you experience and enjoy throughout the summer season.
