At 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, Festival Hill presents an afternoon of Show Tunes and Love... Broadway Memories starring Dick Smith. Joining Mr. Smith on stage will be Dick's daughter Ryan Smith and brother J. Gary Smith. Also in the "family" are Arden Johnson and Will Lynde.
J. Gary Smith has decades of experience in the music recording business in Nashville and has developed some of the industry's finest talent. Smith took Andy Griggs to #1 twice on the charts managing and producing his album "You Won't Ever be Lonely." J. Gary has worked with a remarkable list of names including legends Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Reed, Kevin Sharp, John Rich, The Little River Band, Chalee Tennison, Carolina Rain and the list goes on.
At 3:00 PM, following the one-hour benefit performance, join Festival Hill staff and friends on the Concert Hall stage for a reception with refreshing drinks and delectable Valentine treats from the Festival Hill Kitchen. Adopt a book of your choice to be placed in the Faith P. and Charles L. Bybee Library as part of the Adopt-a-Book Program. Bid on special silent auction items. Your ticket enters you in a drawing for a chance to win fantastic door prizes.
Silent Auction Items (partial list):
Adult $30. Student $10. General seating. Concert tickets will be held at will call on the West side of the concert hall. Doors open 1 hour prior to the concert.
