The Moores School Concert Chorale is the University of Houston's premier large choral ensemble. The group has been under the direction of Betsy Cook Weber since 2002. Since that time the group has appeared as an invited choir before the 2004 national convention of the American Musicological Society, the 2005 and 2008 Texas Music Educators Association conventions, and the 2007 American Choral Directors Association national convention in Miami. The blog described their Miami performances as "absolutely outstanding" and "stunning."

This past summer, Chorale members traveled to compete at the Eisteddfod in Llangollen, Wales, and were invited to represent the United States at this prestigious festival's opening night concert. At the world-renowned festival, the Chorale won or placed in every category they entered, including first prize in the most coveted category of all--Chamber Choir.

Adult $25. Student $10. General seating. Concert tickets will be held at the will call table on the West side of the concert hall. Doors open 1 hour prior to the concert. Tickets will also be available at the door. General seating.

"Visions and Voices of Festival Hill" Exhibition opens on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 7:00 PM. Over 30 well-known writers, poets and visual artists from the Round Top and Central Texas area will display their works on the campus of Round Top Festival Institute. Exhibition reopens at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 28, and remains open until 5:00 PM. Read more...
