Four Hands, Two Keyboards... A Rich Combination of Sounds and Colors
    Experience the music of Roberto Hidalgo and Marc Peloquin in concert.

Roberto Hidalgo and Marc Peloquin perform as the Split Second Piano Ensemble. They will perform a program arousing enthusiasm on two pianos, which they have already proved these last few years at Round Top. Repertoire includes works by Faure, J.S. Bach, Ravel, and Rachmaninoff among others.

About the Artists...

Roberto Hidalgo and Marc Peloquin
   Renowned pianist and pedagogue, Mexican-born pianist Roberto Hidalgo has nourished an important career in Mexico and New York City, where he has lived for three decades. Mr. Hidalgo holds degrees from Mannes College of Music (BM, MM) and the Manhattan School of Music (DMA). He teaches at the Bloomingdale School of Music.

   A native of Rhode Island, Marc Peloquin received his Doctor of Musical Arts from the Manhattan School of Music with additional studies at Boston University, the New England Conservatory and Tanglewood. He is visiting lecturer at the New School University, a Resident Teaching Artist at the Bloomingdale School of Music and resides in New York City.

Adult $25. Student $10. General seating. Concert tickets will be held at will call on the West side of the concert hall. Doors open 1 hour prior to the concert. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Lunch will be available prior to the concert at 12:45 PM in the Menke House Dining Hall, by reservation only. Purchase meals here. The buffet-style pre-concert meal has become a favorite among concertgoers. Menu: Chicken Parmesan, Green Beans, Salad Bar, Fresh Fruit, Strawberry Shortcake, Iced Tea, Coffee and Water.
